So right now I am still on my semi-vacation (hence the lack of blogging)! I miss you all and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things when I get back to NJ! However, I need your help with something while I am in my home town…
You see I am the most indecisive person ever…really…it’s pathetic! Usually when I am visiting my parents I take advantage of the fact that my generous mom pays for me to get my hair done (thanks mom you’re the best!). Lately I have just been getting the same color and just a trim in an effort to let the locks grow. But now I am totally sick of my hair!! The hubs (who usually doesn’t give me a ton of input into what I should do with my hair) thinks it would be cute if I chopped it above the shoulder :0 At first I was like..”Oh, I have been growing it out and if I cut it I will regret it” but after thinking a lot about it Now I think I want to cut it (really in need of a change) but I am still so unsure because I have been growing it out for a while (since the last time I chopped it)!
I don’t know if I should wait it out and let it grow longer or cut it?!
This is where I need your help…what do you think I should do?
Here are some visuals to help…
My current hair style (I’m on the right)
My hair worn a la natural (curly/wavy)
Okay so now here are some of the styles i’m looking at..
I am looking at something like a long bob (lob) that I can wear straight or curly and that rests just above my shoulders.
HELP! Any suggestions, advise, tips, etc. would be extremely appreciated!!
Have a great day!!
PS I’ll be sure to let you all know the final decision!
The Ann Hathaway cut is a-dorable! I too have been growing mine forever but I am actually calling right after I type this to get it chopped - I'm sick of the blow-drying and all the upkeep... can't wait to see how you cut yours!
ReplyDeletethe jessica biel and the sandra bullock ones are hot! i think if your husband has given you the go ahead to get it cut shorter, go for it! my bf likes my hair long although sometimes i wish i could cut it shorter for a change! i think getting it cut would give you a fresh look! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the first one! And I think it's not too drastic but just enough of a change for fall!
ReplyDeleteI like the Reese Witherspoon cut - adorable! Can't wait to see pics!
ReplyDeleteI am loving Jessica Biel's do! It's cute and trendy, but long enough to still pull back or up. I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteHi love, I hope you are having a fun semi-vacation! I think that Anne's and Kate's hair styles are the easiest to work with, to be honest. My hair is currently your length and has been the length of Anne's and Kate's hair prior to growing it out again. When it was too short, like if you got a bob, it was too short to do anything fun with. Plus - a bob would be high maintenance and you would have to straighten it a lot for it to look great, just my opinion. But...if it is shoulder length it is a good length to start with to see if you like it before you commit to a shorter length. Hope this helps - can't wait to see what you choose. Oh, and having natural curly hair like yourself, it is easier to style shoulder length hair, you just get out of bed and throw some gel in your hair! yay!
ReplyDeleteI say chop it now...the longer you wait and the longer it gets, you might not want to do it then : )
ReplyDeleteyou guys are so great!! thanks for all the help..I will be sure to post pics after (the appts on thurs)!
ReplyDeleteSandra Bullock or Gwenyth Paltrow!!!
ReplyDeletePretty sure the non-scary-looking Olsen twin's haircut will translate closely to Sandra's when straight, so I guess I could list that one too. I'm excited to see it!! And new color!!

I agree with Kym... Jessica Biel or Sandra Bullock are nice. However, I have to say I'd suggest Anne Hathaway's!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see you rocking that Jessica Biel bob from photo number one! Hair always grows back, so I say, Do it!
ReplyDeleteHi beautiful Lady! I love all those cuts!! YOu would look HOT with the Jessica Biel cut & I love how she has her bangs. GOOOO for it! Can't wait to see pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove Anne, Heidi, and Gwynnie!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the exact same postition as you right now! I cannot decide WHAT I want to do with my hair. It's naturally curly like yours and sometimes when I cut it above my shoulders,it gets huge when I wear it curly since it doesn't have the weight to pull it down. I also want to try bangs like Jessica Biel but I don't know how they would work when I curl my hair. I say cut yours and then if you love it maybe I'll do mine too ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the first one (Biel's) cuz it's cute but still long enough. I'd say go for it! Change is always fun.
ReplyDeletePS: I'm secretly terrified when I give people advice because I'm afraid they'll take it, hate it, and blame me. So as a disclaimer, I'd say go for what you want to do!
Ok, I'm probably too late but I like the first 3. Since I'm no help at all it shouldn't matter that I'm late. I can't make up my mind either!
